The active ingredient, methylammonium bromide (CAS 6876-37-5), is the subject of a Low Volume Exemption (LVE) granted by U.S. EPA to Fluoro-Spec Inc. under TSCA Section 5 (15 U.S.C. § 2604) and 40 CFR 723.50. The LVE authorizes manufacture and import of the substance under specific conditions including annual volume limits, hazard communication obligations, and use restrictions.
The LVE is non-transferable. Any other party intending to manufacture, import, or distribute methylammonium bromide in U.S. commerce must obtain their own LVE, Premanufacture Notice (PMN), or applicable Section 5 exemption.
