A gentle daily binder, for the lead you have already lived with.

You can pull the leaded mug off the shelf and seal the old paint. You cannot scrub the exposure that already happened. CHELIMINATE is plant-based modified citrus pectin: a soluble fiber, heat and pH modified down to a small molecular size, taken as a simple daily scoop to support your body's normal way of binding and passing heavy metals.*

CHELIMINATE Modified Citrus Pectin, 300 gram functional fiber pouch from DetectLead

What it actually is.

Citrus pectin is the fiber in the peel of an orange. On its own the molecules are too big and too tangled to do much past your gut. CHELIMINATE is pectin that has been heat and pH modified to break it down into short, low-weight pieces. Small enough to be absorbed, and shaped so the open pockets in the fiber latch onto heavy metals.

01

Plant-based fiber

One ingredient: modified citrus pectin from citrus peel. No fillers, no synthetic chelators, no stimulants. Vegan and diet friendly.

02

Micronized and modified

Heat and pH treated to a low molecular weight, then micronized so it dissolves clean into water or juice instead of clumping.

03

Selective binding

It is built to hold onto heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic, while leaving essential minerals such as calcium and magnesium alone.*

How a daily scoop is meant to work.

The idea is simple: introduce a soluble, functionalized fiber and let your body's own elimination do the rest, without the load of a harsh synthetic chelator.*

Mix one scoop

One level scoop into water, juice, apple sauce or anything you or your kids already eat. Drink 6 to 10 oz of fluid with it.

It binds

The short pectin chains latch onto heavy metals. Selective, so the minerals you want to keep are left in place.*

It passes

Bound metals are filtered by the kidneys and carried out in urine. Gentle and non-invasive, made for daily use.*

In published research, modified citrus pectin has been associated with meaningful increases in the urinary excretion of lead and other heavy metals.*

Why people reach for it.

  • Daily, low-cost support for households worried about heavy-metal exposure.
  • Binds heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic.*
  • Supports normal elimination through the kidneys and urine.*
  • Gentle and non-invasive, unlike harsh synthetic chelators.*
  • Made for the long run, for chronic or environmental exposure.*
  • Selective, so it does not strip calcium or magnesium.*
  • One clean ingredient, plant-based and vegan.

How to take it.

Take one level scoop and mix it into water, juice, apple sauce, jelly or fruit preserves, anything that you or your children already eat. Up to 3 times daily. Drink 6 to 10 oz of fluid with each dose so the fiber moves the way it should. Pectin tends to work better taken on an empty stomach, before a meal or as a snack, rather than with a full plate. Refrigerate after opening.

Good to know: this is a dietary fiber supplement. If you, your child, or anyone in the house is pregnant, nursing, on medication, or under medical care, talk to your healthcare professional before starting this or any supplement. Keep out of reach of children.

The other half of the job.

DetectLead has always been about finding the lead. The kit and the light tell you which mug, which toy, which painted rim is the source, so you can take it out of the house. CHELIMINATE is the part that comes after. Once you have cut the exposure off at the source, a gentle daily binder is a low-cost way to support your body while it does what it already does with what it took in.* Find it, remove it, then support the cleanup.

Why I made this.

I built DetectLead because I was tired of watching kids get poisoned by things nobody thought to check. People kept asking me the same question after they found lead: okay, now what. You can fix the house and you can pull the dishes, but you cannot undo what already got in. Modified citrus pectin is one of the few gentle, plant-based things with real research behind it for exactly that. So I sourced food-grade pectin, had it modified and micronized, and packed it myself at a price a family can actually keep buying.

Straight answers.

What is modified citrus pectin?

It is citrus-peel fiber that has been heat and pH treated to shorten the molecules into a low-weight form. That smaller form can be absorbed and is shaped to bind heavy metals, which the body then clears through urine.*

How much do I take?

One level scoop (3 g) mixed into water, juice or food, up to 3 times a day. Each 300 g pouch holds 100 servings. Drink 6 to 10 oz of fluid with each scoop.

Will it pull out the minerals I want to keep?

It is built to bind heavy metals selectively and to leave essential minerals like calcium and magnesium alone, which is one of the main differences from harsh synthetic chelators.*

Can my kids take it?

It is a plant-based fiber and mixes into apple sauce or juice easily. That said, children, and anyone pregnant or nursing, should check with a healthcare professional before taking this or any supplement.

Does it replace testing my home?

No. The whole point is to find the source and remove it first. CHELIMINATE supports your body after exposure, it does not find or fix the lead in your house. Use the kit for that.

How should I store it?

Keep it sealed and dry, and refrigerate after opening to keep the fiber fresh.

You found the lead. This supports the cleanup.

One scoop, in whatever you already drink. About 39 cents a day for a plant-based daily binder.
